The Life Of An Alpaca |
28. I live in Syracuse. I'm from Massachusetts originally. I feel like I should be back there. I love a whole lot of comedies and dramas. Movies and TV. I absorb a whole lot of pop culture, even when it's not good for me. I have a great wife and a great best friend. |
I don’t know. I liked this movie.
So I’m watching an X-Files episode, Chinga (written by Stephen King!)
The lead guest star is a woman named Melissa. And at one point the sheriff of the town says to Scully “People in this town say she’s a witch.” in a grocery store.

In this 70’s “horror” movie, which is probably only now remembered for being featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000, the lead character is a girl named Melissa. And at one point, she says “They say in this town that I’m a witch.”
!
Coincidence? I don’t know. Probably.
“Mulder, if you had to do without a cell phone for two minutes, you’d lapse into catatonic schizophrenia.”

Isn’t it amazing how every city in the country looks like Vancouver?
Clyde Bruckman: You know, there are worse ways to go, but I can’t think of a more undignified way than autoerotic asphyxiation.
Mulder: Why are you telling me that?
Clyde Bruckman: Look, forget I mentioned it. It’s none of my business.
Mulder: Look at this, Scully: there’s been another unsubstantiated UFO sighting in the heartland of America. We’ve got to get there right away.
Scully: Well, gee Mulder, there’s also this report of a shipment of drugs and illegal weapons coming into New Jersey tonight.
Mulder: I hardly think the FBI is concerned with matters like that.
